After the birth of her daughter, Jessica was inspired to create her own school that would provide the experience she wanted for her children. She obtained her certification in Education from Harvard University and director’s credentials from the state of Florida. Today, as the CEO and co-founder of La Piazza Academy, Jessica has built an innovative school that provides high-quality education in a nurturing environment that feels like “home.”
Nita Yeung is a first-generation Chinese American born and raised in Miami, Florida. Nita earned two undergraduate Bachelor’s degrees and a Master’s in Accounting from Florida International University. Her professional journey took her to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), Ivax Pharmaceuticals, LLC, and the International Restaurant Management Group (IRMG). Following the birth of her first-born daughter, Nita’s passion for education was re-ignited, and she partnered with Jessica Pinto to launch La Piazza Academy in 2011. Today, as a co-founder, Nita has added an investor and entrepreneur to her impressive list of accomplishments.
Together, Jessica and Nita have built La Piazza Academy into an innovative school that provides a transformative concept in education. The school is noted for providing a high-quality education in a nurturing environment that feels like “home.” The curriculum puts children at the center of their learning, designed to help them become the best possible version of themselves.
