La Piazza Academy has been guiding the next generation to be compassionate, critical thinkers and outstanding global citizens for over a decade. Since opening their doors to a modest but mighty preschool in 2011, founders Jessica Pinto and Nita Yeung have grown their school into a breathtaking 20,000 square foot preschool and elementary school for learners aged 18 months through fifth grade. Now, they are expanding their progressive school concept with a streamlined franchise program so more children can take advantage of the special curriculum offered at La Piazza Academy, and business builders can create new schools in their communities.

Pinto and Yeung were inspired by the Social Constructivism approach to education, the Reggio Emilia Philosophy and Project-Based Learning (PBL) as well as Miami’s multi-lingual community. Today, their school is APPLE Accredited, has earned the Florida Gold Seal in education, and offers specialty classes such as everyday Mandarin Chinese language, plus multi-lingual class interaction, arts and sciences shared by elite professionals in their fields, as well as math, language arts, and social studies.
